The Program Committee for the 38th Annual Pacific Circle Consortium Conference invites students and educators to submit a proposal for a presentation at the conference in Sydney, Australia. Educators with research and practice interests in the Pacific region are encouraged to share their ideas to dialogue with others in our open conference format. We encourage proposals related to your particular area of education as it relates to our theme of Chats over the Back Fence: Sharing Global Educational Perspectives with Neighbours. We also welcome proposals that are more general in nature or have a differing perspective that will add to our rich discussions.

The language of the PCC is English; we ask that all proposals be submitted in English. Proposals should be 400-700 words in length. A full paper is not expected. Presentations will be 20-minute presentations, which includes question and answer. Proposals should be submitted between June 16 and August 15, 2014. Special consideration will be given to later proposals until September 1, 2014. Notification of acceptance to present at the 2014 conference will be sent via e-mail to the submitting author beginning July 1, 2014. If you have any questions, please email us at
